Organic ingredients are best, and make sure to choose only the freshest of vegetables. If you are going to take the time and expense to make homemade salsa, why use mediocre ingredients? You could have similar quality, but less expense, just buying the kind in the jar.

Not only do you need to consider what you are going to serve but also how you’re going to create a romantic ambiance.

You need to also consider what you are going to serve. You may want to offer fish, pasta, steak, chicken or a veggie meal. For a no fuss but seriously tasty meal, consider the following chicken recipe for your special night at home. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and pour a cup of uncooked white rice on the bottom. Next, place 4 uncooked and boneless chicken breasts over the rice. Mix together 1 can of condensed cream of chicken, cream of broccoli or cream of asparagus soup with 1 can of water and a package of dry onion soup mix. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and sprinkle with breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven for 1 hour and up to 1-1/2 hours. Not only does it taste great but you can put the casserole directly on the table as it makes for a wonderful presentation that’s just right for the occasion. Serve your chicken dish with a tossed green salad, garlic bread and ice cream with strawberries or blueberries for dessert.
